FREE FOOD
That’s right. Wawa on Elkton Road,, in cooperation with the Food Donation Connection and as part of the Food Rescue Transportation System, is donating surplus food to Meeting Ground, a ministry to the homeless in Elkton, MD. Five days per week, Monday through Friday, volunteers pick up the frozen food at Wawa and deliver it to the Mary Randall Center, a day center for homeless folks, and Settlement House, a men’s transitional residence, in Elkton.
